I apologize for posting in english.
I just bought a used XV-01 and I want to install universal shaft assemblies. But to do that I have to remove the castors on the front. But I that is held into place by a ball connector and a kingpin without any hex heads or sockets. They are supposed to be screwed in by hand? I managed to get the ball connector out, but the kingpin is stuck! I tried using small pliers, but no luck. Do you have a suggestion about how I am supposed to get it out? Why would they make it like that?

Hello Jrewing, sorry for my English, he is not perfect, but I am just 17 years old... So, if I have understood, you don’t succeed remove the tierod to change the shaft ?

In this case, you just have to remove the plastic part with a pliers, but it does not withdraw easily...
